Rehabilitation & Original Art....... |

Older
birds are handled as
little as possible. All birds are wild and
need to stay
that way.

Rehabilitation
is costly. A Great Horned Owl can consume $10.00 a day, multiply
that by 10 or 20, you do the math!
Scott does not charge a fee for what he does, it comes from the
heart. He funds his efforts totally
by the sale of his art and the donations he receives. His love and
respect for all injured birds keeps
him going and no bird is turned away.
Any donations
are always welcome and can
be made to:

Stellars Jay grew up
in Scott's home and was
released in Estes Park.
Just like people, each bird requires
their proper nutrition.
Babies are hungry all the time
and are fed round the clock. ![]() ![]() ![]()
As
an artist, Scott works in Watercolor and makes it a rule to never
paint a bird that he hasn't had his hands on. His inspiration
comes from Cubism combined with Realism which makes his art his own.
Drawing off of fellow artist Robert Bateman, his attention to detail
and anatomy is important. He includes the importance of
species, habitat and as always the protection of the earth.
When we loose habitat, we loose species.
Original
Art is always available, and commissions are always welcome.
Please contact Scott for size and price. Pieces are sold
unframed, shipped flat, insured and the shipping will be added to
the cost. Special requests for framing can be made, and Scott
would be happy to oversee your framing if you choose. Framing
charges will be added on to the total cost.
Please know that this will
increase the shipping charge
Note cards
are available. A regular set is one of each...Owls, Songbirds,
and Hummingbirds.
