![]() Scott Rashid Master Bander & Licensed Bird Rehabilitator Estes Park, Colorado. 80517 P.O. Box 3351 Originally from Wisconsin, Scott along with his wife
Susan live and work in Estes Park, Colorado. He has implemented bird
banding programs at both the YMCA of The Rockies just West of Estes Park,
and the Sylvan-Dale Guest Ranch near Loveland, Colorado.
(Updated lists of banded birds can be found in the YMCA & Sylvan-Dale banding pages) Scott also works locally with Law Enforcement and Animal Control in the recovery and release of injured birds. Through recovery and banding he has worked with birds as large as Eagles and as small as Hummingbirds. 1999- Published in the Journal of the Colorado Field Ornithologists for his research on the Northern Pygmy-Owl. 2002- Completed his first CD: "Voices From The Wild", an environmental recording of bird calls. It contains no human voices and no music. 2003- Illustrated: "Birding, Rocky Mountain National Park", written by Scott Roederer. 2005- Published in the Journal of the Colorado Field Ornithologists for his research on the Flammulated Owl. As an artist working in watercolor, he uses his work to supplement his bird rehabilitation which can be very costly. His note cards, limited edition prints and original art are always available.
